This is intended to be a 'listening' group although I will always run it with a visual aspect ie. concerts  which may be orchestral or singing. There will be no need for members to have to 'watch' in this case as the music or singing is main aspect. It will be quite ok for those with poor vision to attend as they can just sit back and listen to whatever I screen. 

Your input will be important for this group since I need to know what you like to listen too. It can be famous singer or perhaps an orchestral piece.

To start this off I will be showing a wonderful concert version of a fabulous musical "SHOWBOAT". I could screen this under my Musical group but it can be just listened too so that is the point 

This concert is  played by the New York Philharmonic  with an all star cast including Julian Ovenden. Believe me this is a truly great concert and I am happy to be able to screen it for you, but remember please that. this can be just listened to and enjoyed if that's what you prefer.

This first one will be on March 27th at 1.00pm at the Community Centre in Marsham Street  and I will try to do these throughout the year (unlike my other groups which are Autumn and Winter only).

There is no limit to what we can listen to and I hope that you can think about what or who you  would love to hear. At the first meeting in March we can chat about this and plan something for later on.
